About the Role
The Revenue Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of Revenue Services, including issuing sales invoices, collecting outstanding debts, and delivering management reports. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders across Finance and Research teams to enhance efficiency and contribute to process improvement projects related to Order to Cash processes. The Coordinator will also support the Banking Services team during peak periods.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage Revenue Services operations, including the issuance of sales invoices and maintaining accurate debtor records.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and performance of Revenue Services.
  • Oversee the collection of outstanding debts and ensure timely issuance of overdue letters in line with the Debt Collection Framework.
  • Provide expert advice on customer enquiries and perform monthly general ledger reconciliations for Accounts Receivable, while supporting the Banking Services team during peak periods.\

Who we are looking for
You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver accurate outcomes in a timely manner. You will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling you to build rapport across diverse teams, alongside exceptional organisational skills to manage competing priorities. Additionally, you will demonstrate the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, with proven experience in leading a team.

You will also have:

  • Demonstrated ability to perform complex financial reconciliations, utilising multiple systems and managing large volumes of data.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation accounting principles and their impact on the organisation and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel, database management, and PowerBI, alongside exposure to Agile methodologies and the ERP Quote to Cash module.
  • A CPA/CA qualification (or working towards) with relevant tertiary education and/or experience.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
